4th grader needs to speed up x and / probs...

I have a very bright 4th grade dd but she is beind in her math test score wise. Mostly because she is still slow in her x and / probs. She keeps resorting to counting in groups with fingers verses just memorizing. I dont want to move her further on before I feel she has a good handle on the spped (4 digit probs become a huge chore when your slow at the mechanics of the prob) but I also dont want her to fall behind in what she should know math wise by the end of the year. BTW, our state requires testing, so that is a concern.

Any suggestions? Other than x and / she is a whiz at math, she really understand story probs and can break them down very quickly.
